COMMON ARC
The Common Arc Welder Performance Qualification Program gives our Boilermaker Employers access to pre-certified welders in compliance with the A.S.M.E. Section 1X Welding Code.
• A test administered by multiple contractors reduces contracting testing costs.
• A national data base tracks each welder’s qualifications.
• Immediate verification of certifications is available on the participant’s MOST profile provided at the Boilermakers National Reserve Center.
• Welder must maintain current qualifications within a 6-month time frame.
• Specialized Welding Procedure capabilities, as per owner request.
The next Common Arc Testing will be conducted the last two weeks in July, 2011.
