Minnottee Contracting Corporation, Allegheny Energy Supply at the Hatfield’s Ferry Generating Station; 62,332 accident free man-hours.
2008 National Maintenance Agreement (NMA) Zero Injury Awards:
• Enerfab Corporation, First Energy at the Sammis Plant. 268,500.25 accident-free man hours.
• Minnotte Contracting, Allegheny Energy at the Hatfield Station. 58,364 accident-free man hours.
Our Safety Training Staff is constantly updating their certifications to remain in compliance with OSHA Standards. Our on-site facilities are state of the art – a MOST classroom, welding prep area, mock-up steel structure, and Apprenticeship and Training classrooms. In each of these environments, safety is always a core concept. All of our members are 100% safety trained.
Safety is a team effort. It depends on every foreman, steward, journeyman, apprentice, and trainee. Boilermakers Local 154 strives for zero injuries on every job site, and to reach that goal, we employ a MOST Program with sixteen key components that combine to provide our industry with a safe and cost-effective workplace.
Boilermakers Local 154 Safety Training Staff keeps informed of all changes in OSHA Standards and update their certifications to ensure that we remain in compliance with those standards. These changes are then passed down to our workforce through our state-of-the-art on-site facilities.
